How to Choose a Typeface Response

 I enjoyed this reading because it helped me understand the importance of choosing the perfect fonts for your typeface. It's all about creating a fit image in your mind that pleases not only you but your audience as well. The key points I read that are important when choosing your style are legibility and readability, I now look at signs and dissect them and read between the lines, and ask myself, “What was the process” and “What made them choose this style” and if it's easy to read or distinguish. One thing I also took away from the reading was taking the time to consider how your audience or client takes in the message. Knowing the difference between legibility and readability is important too, as knowing how you want to present your typeface, do you want it readable? Or just a glance. I like how, for readability, communication comes before style. I think it's really important to know the difference and now because of the article, it will help me with my process in choosing how I want my future typefaces.
